On April 21, 2009, "Leading Contact - High level Forum on Civil Aircraft Manufacturing Technology and Equipment" was held in Shengli Hotel, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. Guan Qiao, academician of the CAE Member, Cao Chunxiao, academician of the CAS Member, Zhao Haishan, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, and other guests were invited to attend. At the same time, relevant enterprises, universities More than 200 representatives from research institutions participated in this forum. At the opening ceremony of the forum, Li Jiajun, Director of the Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, first delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers to the conference. This forum was jointly hosted by four organizers: Zhang Yanmin, Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, Zhang Juen, Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Li Zhonghai, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, and Wang Zuqiang, Chief Engineer of Tianjin Electromechanical Holding Group.

During the conference presentation, Academician Guan Qiao gave a report on "Welding/Connection/Forming Technology in the Integrated Manufacturing Engineering of Aircraft Structures", Academician Cao Chunxiao gave a report on "First Generation Materials, First Generation Aircraft", and Vice President of the Mechanical Science Research Institute Wang Decheng read out Academician Lu Bingheng's report on "Technical Route for the Development of Manufacturing Equipment in China" Han Kecen, Deputy Chief Engineer of AVIC Xi'an First Aircraft Design and Research Institute, presented a report on "Analysis of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Requirements for Large Aircraft Engineering", and Chen Xiaoming, Deputy Chief Engineer of AVIC Beijing Aviation Manufacturing Engineering Research Institute, presented a report on "Developing Advanced CNC Equipment to Meet Aircraft Manufacturing Needs". At the same time, Mr. Zhao Haishan, who was then the Deputy Director of the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Management Committee and the Chairman of Airbus Tianjin General Assembly Company, introduced the overview of Tianjin Binhai Airport Industrial Zone and Airbus projects to the attending representatives. There were also Yang Hong, the Deputy General Manager of AVIC Aviation Technology Industry and Trade Company, and Yi Xiaosu, the Director of the Science and Technology Committee of AVIC Beijing Aviation Materials Research Institute Professor Fan Yuqing from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and other guests delivered a speech on the topic of aviation manufacturing. At the same time, Zhang Kun, Assistant to the President of Bank of Beijing Tianjin Branch, Wu Guodong, Manager of Faru International Trade (Shanghai) Company, and Shi An, President of Shenzhen Innovation Investment Group, also delivered keynote speeches.

On the second day of the forum, the conference opened sub forums on "Manufacturing Technology" and "Comprehensive Technology and Financial Services". Financial services, as a new topic adapting to the current economic situation, have been introduced for the first time in the manufacturing technology forum for discussion. In the "Manufacturing Technology" sub forum, Yang Jianjun, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Professor Duan Yugang from Xi'an Jiaotong University, and representatives of enterprises such as Tan Guangheng from Harbin Group, Wang Honglei from Blue Ridge Digital, Mu Hongxia from Siemens, and Fan Shenghong from Chenwei Technology jointly exchanged ideas at the forum. The organizer of the afternoon meeting organized representatives to visit the Tianjin Airbus A320 final assembly line in the airport processing zone of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. This visit received positive response from the representatives and marked a perfect end to the forum.

The "Leading Contact - High Level Forum on Civil Aircraft Manufacturing Technology and Equipment" is jointly organized by four major institutions: the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, the Chinese Aviation Society, the Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, and the Tianjin Science and Technology Association. It is exclusively hosted by Gaobote Military Industry Network.
